MiraCLE in Cleveland

Jets complete an Epic Comeback to win 31-30 in Cleveland on Sept 18.

I don't know about you, but during the 4th quarter with 3 minutes to go, I stood in front of the television with my fellow HJFs with that same, all-too-familiar, feeling in my stomach. "Here we go again.." We hadn't won a game in September since Game 1 of the 2018 season when Sam Darnold made his incredible debut against the Lions in Detroit. We were already down 24-17 when Nick Chubb tore into the endzone making it 30-17 with just 1:55 left on the clock. It was at that point that across the screens at FirstEnergy showed stats regarding the last time the Browns went 2-0, which was back in 1993. It was then that Case York missed the extra point. We still had a chance...

Flacco gets the ball back and throws a wide-open pass to Corey Davis for the TD. The clock read 1:22 and Cleveland fans start to appear worried.

30 -24 Browns.

Now we need an onside kick to make this win possible.

Brayden Mann sets up the onside kick and we recover the football! The Jets have the football!

0:25 left in the game. Jets are 3rd and 10 at the 25 yard line. Flacco throws over the middle and the pass is CAUGHT by Garrett Wilson, the rookie from THE Ohio State. You've got to be kidding me! "The Jets trying to pull a miracle comeback."

Ken Blaze - USA TODAY Sports

“The Jets trying to pull a miracle comeback.”

With the PAT, we are up 31-30. But Cleveland gets the ball back. There is still time.

Jacoby Brissett throws with 0.08 left and its picked off by Ashtyn Davis. GAME OVER.

I forgot what this felt like and I like it.
